Jarrod Haning's Bio

Professional Speaking:
The entrepreneur Jarrod Haning has combined 2 college degrees, performing experience with 12 professional orchestras, 24 years of musical studies and over 20,000 hours of practice into a series of transformational talks entitled What Musicians Know.  By unwrapping the “secrets of the symphony” he is able to give a wider audience access into getting results in their lives.  This series of talks is not just about music, it is about having the areas in life that matter to you most working the way you want them to.

Professional Music:
His undergraduate degree is from Texas Tech University.  And his graduate degree is from the University of South Carolina where he held a graduate assistantship.  In addition to his role in the music department he also represented the music department in campus wide presentation competitions.

He currently serves the South Carolina Philharmonic in the following roles:  Principal Viola and the Players Committee.  Jarrod was also a part of the Conductor Search Committee which selected their newest conductor Morihiko Nakahara.

He plays viola with the Sterling Garden Chamber Players, who hold quarterly concerts in a very unique setting.  He plays violin for several churches and thoroughly enjoys improvisation, fiddle and jazz.

Entrepreneurial Ventures:
In addition to his musical pursuits he has started 3 successful companies over the past 15 years.  Custom Brush Works provided painting contract work for residential, commercial, and industrial clients in Lubbock TX.  Western Properties LLC produced several happy customers with picturesque home renovation and reconstruction projects in Columbia SC.  Western Properties LLC changed its direction in 2003 and has focused on Real Estate investments nationwide for the past 5 years.  As a result of nationwide investing experience he was featured on ABC Nightline in 2007.  Although he is no longer working as an active investor, you can learn from his national experience for free at www.reinvestingreport.com.

He is a licensed Realtor, Residential Builder, Pilot, and Skydiver.  (you don’t have to be licensed to play the viola in public, but you should be)

Currently he is teaching privately and bringing his motivational messages to businesses and organizations on the East Coast.   His private studio is unique in that he has solved one of the common problems that block rapid progress with lessons.  All private studios (art, dance, voice, etc.) could benefit from the techniques he has developed.
