Wedding Songs
Common selections for a Classic Wedding
The music for your wedding can be arranged however you would like, virtually anything can be performed live. If you have a recording or even and idea - it can be done. Many couples enjoy the simplicity of a classical wedding. Some enjoy writing their own music or choosing from their personal list of contemporary favorites.
Just remember that it is your special day. Choose the music you want to hear. Anything is possible from a favorite Hymn to a current "top 20" song on the radio.
One of the most popular arrangements of musicians for a wedding is the string quartet. A lot can be done with a piano, but there is something special about the size and warmth of the sound a string quartet makes.
As you peruse the following abridged list, be creative. You can have any of these songs played at any time during your wedding. For example, "Ode to Joy" is listed under Unity Candle - but you may prefer having it for your wedding part entrance.

Each wedding is unique. Some will have a communion time as well.
Processional
While the Bridal Chorus is the standard, modern weddings have used many different songs for the grand entrance.

The Mendelssohn March is the traditional tune for a recessional, but many couples with use the Trumpet Tune Instead.

Special Music
It is a nice touch to have a song "just because," everyone can stop and reflect.
